An activity_type refers to the type of campaign or activity with which the data is associated. For example, in the context of a Message Extract, each line of data represents a message sent and the activity_type determines which type of campaign, API activity, keyword trigger, or other activity the message was associated with.

activity_type	Description
ACQUISITION	Activity is associated with an acquisition campaign.
Broadcast	Activity is associated with an broadcast campaign. This could be SMS, push, or MMS.
Campaigns::Site	Activity is associated with a mobile page campaign created in the Wallet Manager.
Campaigns::Wallet	Activity is associated with a wallet campaign created in the Wallet Manager. This could be a loyalty card, a wallet offer, or an event pass.
chat	Activity is associated with messages sent to an individual end user via the Message Steam in the Messages tab of the platform.
Contest	Activity is associated with a contest campaign.
DateTriggeredBroadcast	Activity is associated with a date-triggered broadcast.
default	This is returned when an end user texts in a keyword that is not associated to any campaign.
default_external	Activity is associated with an event being sent into the system. After the event, no default MT was sent, but a callback sent was sent to the customer.
default_none	Activity is associated with an event being sent into the system. After the event, no default MT or callback was sent in response.
EventTriggeredMessage	Activity is associated with an event-triggered messaging campaign.
help	Activity_type for when an end user texts the word HELP into one of your short or long codes.`
INCENTIVE	Activity is associated with an incentive campaign.
Info	Activity is associated with an info campaign.
MessageApiv2	Activity is associated with Connect aggregation, using v2 of the API.
MessageApiv3	Activity is associated with Connect aggregation, using v3 of the API.
MSG	This activity_type is associated with a ProServ app activity.
NONE	The campaign type is not defined.
ProvisionedKeyword	Activity is associated with an end user texting in a provisioned keyword.
RecipientListTriggeredBroadcast	Activity is associated with a recipient list-triggered broadcast campaign. These campaigns are triggered by a recipient list being uploaded into the platform.
Request	Activity is associated with an interactive request campaign. Request campaigns allow end users to send in requests using a keyword anywhere in their text.
stop	Activity is associated with an end user sending in a "STOP" keyword.
Vote	Activity is associated with a vote campaign. Vote campaigns allow end users to text in a response to a question or poll, usually by using a keyword.
